Therapy for the Ones Who Were Told to Shrink.
Maryland-based LCSW-C offering affirming individual therapy and group support for queer and neurodivergent adults.
I'm Ramelle Liverpool, LCSW-C (she/her), a Maryland-based therapist for the folks who have always been told they are "too much." As a Black, queer, neurodivergent, and disabled woman, I know what it feels like to be failed by the systems that were supposed to support you. That experience isn't abstract for me. It's personal.
My path to private practice wasn’t linear; it was born from a commitment to advocacy and the belief that standing up for others is always worth the risk. Say More Therapy started when my dedication to individuals outgrew the walls of traditional institutions—it’s a practice built on the courage to stay aligned with your values, even when the path forward isn't the easiest one. I built this space for the ones who have been pushed out, silenced, or told to shrink. Here, "Say More" isn't just an invitation to talk. It's a radical permission to be your fullest self and live in alignment with your own truth.
In our work together, you can expect room to feel things you may have buried just to get through the day. Survival tactics have a way of muting us. My job is to help you turn the volume back up. I often tell clients: you are the driver, I am the passenger. You bring what's alive for you, and I show up with honesty, direct feedback, and a genuine curiosity about the systems and thought processes shaping your world.
My approach pulls from cognitive therapy, DBT, and feminist frameworks, all grounded in your identity, your history, and your own expertise on your life. Honesty, authenticity, and a willingness to question both the thoughts we hold and the systems we move through are the values that guide everything I do.
I work with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent adults through individual therapy and community groups, and I am honored to hold space for you to stop apologizing for your existence.
Ramelle holds a Master of Social Work from Fordham University and a degree in Women's Studies from the State University of New York at New Paltz. She is licensed as a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) in Maryland.
